Well my life has been great though I keep having these minor headaches everything seems to be well. Exams are over, thank god for that. You see one of the main reasons that I haven't been blogging are because of the exams, so if you want to blame something, blame it on the exams. Speaking of exams, I felt like I have genuinely prepared myself for each exams but like always I could've done better, I could've studied harder and so forth. Boo hoo they're all over now so.. moving on. My exams commenced on the 31st of May to the 4th of June. So I decided to summarize what my 'exam' week was like.
31st of May
When: 9.00am
Subject:English - 2 essays were completed. I chose to do my first one on Macbeth and second one on Genetic Engineering. I had written 2 and A half pages each.
Thought after exam was finished: I was happy with what I had put in both essays, feeling? Satisfactory.
1st of June
{No exams today, therefore day off}
my supposedly 'study day' with sarah, turned out to be a 'shopping day' I know. Am I bad or what? hah..Yes me Sarah and An decided to go shopping at DFO when we should've all been studying.. We didn't buy much, I purchased this really cute beanie from Dotti and I think that's about it? hehe. That night I had no motivation whatsoever to do ANYTHING and so studio arts and Media were done at the very last minute. Study satisfaction: okay.
2nd of June
When:9.00am-12.00pm something?
Subject:Media and Studio Arts
Thought after exam was finished:There was one question that was bothering me on the studio arts exam and after completing the exam I had looked over at my notes, realizing that I had mixed both of the definitions up, so the definition of one term was the other term's definition (vice versa, I hope that didn't confuse you..)
..Just great.
3rd of June
When:9.00am-12.00pm something?
Subject: Methods and Economics
Thought after exam was finished: Hooray! Methods is done and over with, though I had only studied the night before til 1.ooam in the morning? Half of the time I went over the chapters that apparently will be on the exam and the other half of the time was the making of my cheat sheet. I did not study for eco. Though I had the other days I knew I should've went over a few terms even, but because my mind was still concentrating on methods I had no time to. ZzZzZz Not happy, I should've studied for economics more.
"Just had my methods exam and now I have the biggest headache on earth, due to what? My so called intense studying and two bottles of V. Note to self: Never do that again, rach is also now sleep deprived." - 03/06/10 in my notes on my phone.
3rd of June
When:The evening, (can't recall what time)
Subject:Literature, 2 Essays were accomplished. I had written 1 and a Half pages each. {word minimum was 400-600 each essay}
Thoughts after the exam was finished:Challenging as two of the Romulus, My father prompts were like "...HUH!? about.. what what?" as my first thoughts to the essay questions, though I still managed to do one of them, since I knew the book well thank god for that! And so I think I did fairly well, I'm quite sure I passed!
And that was my 2010 mid-year exam account.
love rach,
